After a very pleasant winter in the Caribbean, your humble editor is back and, I might add, so is at least one loon.
The ice is almost gone and the loon is newly back.

Six Snow Geese off your property yesterday afternoon. They flew into Wood's Bay. Lake Carruthers and McDougall's Beaver pond are both open as of Thursday, April 28th.
